The Opportunity
We’re hiring a  Managing General Agent (MGA)to take a leadership role in building, managing, and growing our insurance operations. You’ll act as a direct extension of ownership—leading a team, driving production, and helping scale the agency the right way.

This role is ideal for someone who is  grounded, experienced, and leads with both strength and integrity .

Requirements

What You’ll Do

• Lead, manage, and develop a team of 5–10 on-site agents
• Oversee sales performance, underwriting, and daily operations
• Recruit, onboard, and train new agents
• Build and manage a profitable book of business
• Coach team members on sales strategies, compliance, and growth
• Conduct team meetings, performance reviews, and accountability tracking
• Drive a culture of professionalism, respect, and results

What You Bring

Required:

• Active insurance license(s)
• Minimum 3+ years of insurance sales experience
• Strong understanding of underwriting and agency operations
• Proven sales performance and ability to hit/exceed targets

Preferred:

• 3–5+ years in P&C, Life/Health, or multi-line insurance
• Prior leadership, mentorship, or team lead experience
• Experience growing a book of business
• Strong background in cross-selling and upselling

Technical Skills

• Agency management systems (Applied Epic, HawkSoft, EZLynx, or similar)
• CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
• Carrier portals and quoting tools
