Job Description

I’m currently recruiting a Carrier Sales Representative for a leading, global 3PL provider. They are looking for a sharp negotiator to cover freight, build out a reliable carrier network, and collaborate with account managers to source truckload solutions. This position will offer plenty of career growth as they love to promote internally.

salary: $60,000 - $75,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities

• Manage all assigned loads within assigned territory on a daily basis to include procuring capacity and negotiating favorable pricing to increase profitability (may include nights and weekends)
• Develop relationships with motor carriers to understand carrier capabilities and pricing structure to secure capacity and competitive pricing
• Work closely with Account Managers and Account Executives to understand customer requirements and collaboratively develop solutions to increase business levels
• Reviews carrier service levels to ensure key performance indicators are achieved
• Develop corrective action plans with carriers when performance is below expectation
