Job Title: Sterile Processing Production Coordinator

Location: Elmhurst, IL

Duration: 13 Weeks

Schedule: Night Shift – 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM (40 hours/week)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sterile Processing Production Coordinator to support sterile processing operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong experience in managing loaner and consignment trays, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring efficient workflow across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage loaner and consignment instrument trays to ensure timely availability for procedures
• Collaborate with vendors, surgical teams, and internal departments to track and organize instrument flow
• Maintain accurate documentation and tracking using instrument management systems
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure compliance with sterilization and processing standards
• Troubleshoot workflow issues and implement process improvements
• Generate reports and provide updates to leadership as needed
• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety guidelines

Required Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of hands-on Sterile Processing Department (SPD) experience
• Strong experience with loaner and consignment tray management
• Proven ability to coordinate across departments and with external vendors
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with instrument tracking software and reporting tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Sterile Processing (CRCST or equivalent)
• Experience in a hospital or surgical center setting
