Job Description

Salary: $111,900 - 150,000 per year Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in engineering related to automation and electromechanical systems
• Extensive understanding of control processors, components, and communication networks
• Highly skilled in the installation, integration, and commissioning of industrial control systems
• Strong grasp of communication protocols: TCP/IP, CAN, serial, ProfiNET, Ethernet/IP, EtherCAT
• Experience with requirements management, test plans/procedures, and test execution
• Knowledge of functional safety standards, including IEC 61508, IEC 62061, ISO 13849
• Familiarity with industry standards for amusement and automation, including ASTM F2291
• Proficient in technical document creation
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for various durations up to 3 years
• Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, coordinating team efforts and prioritizing tasks

• Innovatively apply engineering principles to design control systems for various intricate and groundbreaking ride systems and equipment
• Conduct systems engineering for ride control systems
• Define system use cases and user needs
• Develop and document requirements and functional specifications through drawings and models
• Ensure adherence to control system safety regulations
• Execute engineering design and analysis for ride control systems
• Create control strategies and algorithms
• Investigate new products, technologies, and methodologies
• Design, model, and analyze control systems, data communications, and dynamic systems
• Collaborate with design and engineering professionals to implement ride control systems
• Create and execute mock-ups and prototypes for proof-of-concept projects
• Establish test requirements and documents, leading testing processes
