We are also proud to be named**Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures for 2023 and 2024!** Learn more at**Job Description:****Position Overview:** Reporting to the Manager, NICU, the successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning implementation and evaluating nursing care and practice activities in a multidisciplinary family centered level 2 care environment. You will be caring for premature and newborn acute and critically ill infants and attending high risk deliveries and code pink resuscitation situations in a supportive environment. You will be able to participate in continuous education opportunities and workshops to help further your education. You will be able to bring your passion for NICU nursing to the department while advocating for patients and their families. **What You’ll Love About SHN:*** Your customized orientation will take place approximately over 12 weeks and will be followed by a meeting with your educator to ensure all of your learning goals are met.* **Ongoing Skill Advancement:** In-house courses and workshops to advance skills like NRP, S.T.A.B.L.E, and PALS and other sessions will promote your professional development.* **Benefits Coverage:** Full-Time Permanent includes comprehensive medical and dental coverage and a defined pension plan through HOOPP.
