We are seeking an elite, certified Quality Inspector to lead quality initiatives on the production floor. If you are a rigorous, detail-oriented professional looking to oversee complex inspection processes, mentor junior operators, and interface directly with engineering and upper management, our client provides the premier platform for your career.

Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Inspection: Perform holding-point, in-process, first-article (FAI), and final pre-ship inspections on complex circuit boards, wire harnesses, enclosures, and machined components.
- Standards Enforcement: Validate that all assemblies strictly comply with rigorous corporate, customer, and government standards (including IPC-A-610, IPC/WHMA-A-620, and J-STD-001 class II and III specifications).
- Advanced Metrology: Utilize a wide array of precision diagnostic tools—including microscopes, Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines, calipers, micrometers, and thickness gauges—to verify tight-tolerance dimensions.
- Documentation & Material Defect Control: Audit and validate complex prototype drawings, traveler logs, and bills of materials (BOMs). Author Material Rejection Actions (MRAs) and non-conforming reports when discrepancies are uncovered.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Mentor less experienced assembly and inspection staff on quality standards, and actively lead daily interfacing meetings with supervisors, quality engineers, and program managers to resolve floor issues.
