Busy medical office is currently hiring a part time Front Desk Medical Receptionist. The hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. This is a long term permanent position with the medical facility. The office is a very busy and established practice with a small staff. The family practice has been open and operating for over 15 years. They are seeking an individual who is interested in part time employment and wants to be with a company for a long time. Responsibilities Listen to voice messages upon arrival and return patient calls. Schedule appointments, reschedule and make outbound calls to confirm appointments. Handle the high volume of inbound calls during the mornings. Work as a team with another receptionist to greet each patient in a friendly and upbeat manner. Possibility to learn other tasks in the office for those with medical billing and coding experience or certificate. Qualifications No experience working in the medical field required, but it is preferred.
