We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Manager - Agency Media Planning to join our growing Best Buy Ads agency this role you will combine business insights media intelligence and industry trends with innovative thinking to build recommendations and media plans to meet agency and brand objectives. This role is responsible for partnering with the agency sales team to develop new and ongoing relationships with agencies their holding companies and the brands they serve both endemic CE and ideal candidate should have a proven track record in working with agencies & brands a deep understanding of the media landscape and the ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with partners.
This role is hybrid which means you will work some days at our mid-town Manhattan NY office and some days virtually from home or another non-Best Buy location. The specific work arrangements vary by role and team. The recruiter or hiring manager will provide more details during the hiring process.
What youll do
Understand the goals and objectives of agency and brand partners ensuring the team delivers timely bar-raising results
Develop media plans for agency & brand partners for a roster of accounts
Partner with the sales team to develop and nurture relationships with agency & brand marketing teams
Steward media plan through execution understanding pacing performance and optimizations that are needed to deliver upon KPIs.
Collaborate cross-functionally partnering with CSM Sales Ads Analytics AdOps and other internal teams through campaign lifecycle.
Contribute to the RFP process with innovative ideas and media plans that perform
Leverage pilot testing and beta opportunities on the roadmap to win agency and brand business
Basic qualifications
6 or more years of progressive media planning experience in an advertising agency publisher and/or a client setting
3 or more years of experience in digital media
2 or more years of direct or indirect leadership experience inclusive of mentoring and coaching
Experience working cross functionally on large scale projects
Preferred qualifications
Experience with integrated media strategy
Experience working for or with a RMN or media publisher
Curiosity and eagerness to stay current on media consumption and industry trends
Proactive problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented approach
Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
