We are hiring a Pharmacy Technician for a long-term care (LTC) pharmacy environment with variable scheduling and a strong support team. Position Details

• Schedule: Variable shifts, Monday - Sunday
• Employment Type: Contract-to-hire (8 week contract period)

Key Responsibilities

• Work under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist to fill prescriptions and prepare IV medications
• Assist with entering prescription and billing data to support accurate reimbursement
• Support prepackaging of medications in compliance with pharmacy standards and government regulations
• Assist the Pharmacist with final verification processes, including staging and packaging medications for delivery
• Coordinate accurate and timely distribution of medications to customers
• Support inventory management, including receiving, rotating, and tracking medications and supplies
• Assist with maintaining a clean, safe workspace, including equipment checks for calibration and cleanliness

Required Qualifications

• Previous pharmacy technician experience required
• Long-term care (LTC) experience is a plus
• Active New Mexico Pharmacy Technician license required
• Ability to work variable shifts, including evenings and weekends
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining regulatory compliance
