Job Description

Position Overview:

Chick-fil-A Athens is seeking a motivated and organized HR Coordinator to support our growing team across our four restaurant locations in Athens. This role plays an important part in creating a welcoming and structured experience for new team members while supporting leaders in hiring and people development.

The HR Coordinator will assist with orientation, onboarding, and interview processes , while also helping maintain strong communication and organization within our HR systems. When not actively supporting HR functions, this role will serve in restaurant operations , helping ensure our guests continue to receive the exceptional service Chick-fil-A is known for.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in developing HR experience while staying connected to daily restaurant operations and leadership development.

Key Responsibilities

HR & People Support

  • Assist in conducting new hire orientation and onboarding for team members across all Athens Chick-fil-A locations
  • Support the interview and hiring process , assisting leaders during interview days
  • Help maintain accurate team member records and onboarding documents
  • Support HR initiatives related to team culture, engagement, and retention

Operational Support

  • Serve in various restaurant operations roles when not supporting HR functions
  • Maintain Chick-fil-A’s high standards for guest service, food safety, and team collaboration
  • Support leaders during high-volume periods to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Friendly, professional demeanor with a heart for serving others
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
  • Comfortable interacting with new hires and helping create a welcoming environment
  • Ability to multitask between administrative and operational responsibilities
  • Previous leadership or restaurant experience is preferred but not required
