Compensation Analyst

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• $55/hour+ (based on experience)
• Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• W2 | Contract
ROLE IMPACT
This role requires a seasoned compensation professional who can operate end-to-end—from data analysis to executive presentation. You will analyze compensation structures, interpret findings, and deliver strategic insights that guide leadership decisions in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyze and interpret compensation data to support business decisions
• Apply compensation methodologies, frameworks, and best practices
• Build and manipulate complex datasets using advanced Excel
• Translate data insights into clear, executive-level PowerPoint presentations
• Develop polished, executive-ready decks with actionable recommendations
• Communicate findings in a concise, digestible manner for leadership
• Present insights and recommendations to executive stakeholders as needed
• Manage projects from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and alignment
• Adapt to shifting priorities and deliver results in high-pressure environments
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelors degree required
• 5+ years of direct compensation experience
• Strong knowledge of compensation terminology, structures, and methodologies
• Advanced Excel skills (data modeling, analysis, and manipulation)
• Experience building executive-level PowerPoint presentations
• Proven ability to translate data into business insights
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-visibility environments
• Ability to work onsite in Dallas, TX

• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• PowerPoint (executive presentation development)
• HRIS and compensation data systems
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Experience presenting to executive leadership
• Background in Total Rewards or Compensation Consulting
• Experience in HR analytics with strong compensation focus
• Ability to manage ambiguity and shifting priorities
