  • Comfort working on projects for large institutional clients such as universities, hospitals, and major general contractors.
  • Interest in long-term opportunities with the potential to transition from contract to permanent employment based on performance.
Why Work Here?

You will join a highly respected contractor with a strong reputation and a tenured field crew that values long-term relationships and stability. The culture emphasizes treating employees well, maintaining a family-like atmosphere, and fostering minimal turnover in the field. Permanent employees enjoy medical benefits, an IRA, paid time off, uniforms, and access to company trucks at management’s discretion. You will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects for prominent general contractors and institutional clients, gaining valuable experience while being supported by an experienced core team.

Work Environment

The work environment is field-based across New Haven County, with assignments that include university and hospital projects and other commercial construction sites. Typical schedules run Monday through Friday, either 6:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. or 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with potential Saturday or Sunday work depending on project needs and up to 10 hours of overtime when required. Crews generally consist of 6–10 people, providing strong on-site support and guidance from an experienced core group that has been with the company for many years. The atmosphere is collaborative and stable, with a family-like culture and low turnover.
