Job Description

Akkodis is seeking an AI Engineer for a Contract with a client in Bellevue, WA. The ideal candidate is responsible for building scalable data and ML platforms that enable end users to create and operationalize AI agents at enterprise scale.

Rate Range: $53/hour to $57/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

AI Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data engineering pipelines using PySpark on Azure Synapse to support AI and ML workloads.

• Enable end‑to‑end machine learning workflows by integrating data preparation, model training, and inference using Azure ML Studio and AI Foundry.

• Develop robust Python‑based data processing services and APIs to support enterprise‑level analytics and AI agent platforms.

• Ingest, transform, and manage large‑scale datasets from Azure Storage (Blob, ADLS Gen2) ensuring data quality and reliability.

• Monitor, query, and analyze telemetry and operational data using Azure Data Explorer (Kusto) for performance optimization and troubleshooting.

• Support CI/CD pipelines, production deployments, monitoring, and cost‑efficient operation of data and ML solutions on Azure.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• 6–8 years of hands‑on experience in AI/ML engineering, data engineering, or platform development roles.

• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services with hands‑on experience in AI Foundry, Azure Synapse, Azure ML Studio, and Python/PySpark.

• Proven ability to build and operate scalable data pipelines and ML platforms with CI/CD, API integration, and production‑grade monitoring.

Pay Details: $53.00 to $57.00 per hour
